WHYY News videographer Kimberly Paynter works with reporters to produce visual accompaniments to news stories, and also contributes her own coverage of stories around the region.
A Philly native and University of the Arts graduate, Kimberly joined WHYY staff in 2012 after spending two years submitting regular contributions. Her credits include work for NPR, StateImpact and Mural Arts. So far, the highlight of Kimberly’s career is that time she convinced the boss to send her to Kennedy Space Center for the last manned shuttle launch.
When not being a “professional listener,” Kimberly is being nosey for free.
