As the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks approaches, Gettysburg History is hosting a special evening of remembrance and reflection focused on the 40 passengers and crew members aboard United Flight 93. On The Spark, we’ll talk with Andrew Dalton, President and CEO of Gettysburg History, about the upcoming “United 93: A 25th Anniversary Screening and Conversation,” taking place September 12.

The program will feature a screening of Paul Greengrass’s award-winning film United 93, along with a conversation featuring family members of the 40 people aboard the flight, who will share personal stories and memories of their loved ones. Cast members and others involved in telling the story will also offer remarks. The event is presented as part of the Gettysburg Film Festival in partnership with the Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial, with proceeds supporting efforts to preserve and share the stories of those who were lost.
