With measles cases raising renewed concerns about vaccine-preventable diseases, having accurate information and trusted medical guidance is especially important. On The Spark, we’ll talk with Dr. Andrew Lutzkanin, a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society Board of Trustees, about measles prevention, vaccination and how patients can have informed conversations with their physicians about vaccines.
We’ll discuss why measles remains a serious public health concern, common questions and concerns surrounding vaccination, and the importance of turning to trusted medical professionals for reliable information. We’ll also learn about the Pennsylvania Medical Society’s Facts Not Fear campaign, which works to address common vaccine myths and help Pennsylvanians have productive conversations with their doctors.
