The Antique Marketplace of Lemoyne has grown into what it describes as the largest antique mall in Pennsylvania, with more than 275 vendors under one roof. On The Spark, we spoke with Zoe, one of the original vendors from when the marketplace opened 20 years ago, and Dan, whose mother has been a longtime vendor and introduced him to the antique business from an early age. We explored what has kept the marketplace going for two decades and why it continues to attract both shoppers and people looking for an accessible way to run a small business.

The property itself has a long history. It originally housed Manbeck Bakery beginning in 1913 and included stables for delivery horses. After changing hands several times, the building was converted into a fabric and antique store in 1992. It has since undergone additional expansions, including one in 2023 into the former Barbizon studio space. The marketplace will hold its Fall Open House on September 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., giving visitors a chance to explore the many vendors and their collections.
