  Asia was born and raised in Norfolk, Va. She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2018 with a major in Communications.

President Donald Trump is intensifying his campaign to persuade Republican lawmakers to pass sweeping new voting restrictions ahead of the November midterm elections. During a recent prime-time address, the president highlighted his administration’s immigration policies, tax cuts and military spending before turning his focus to election security.

In his remarks, Trump repeated claims about election integrity and urged Congress to approve legislation that would significantly change how Americans vote.
