As the United States prepares to mark its 250th year of independence, communities across Central Pennsylvania are celebrating the Fourth of July with fireworks displays, festivals, parades and hometown traditions.

The region’s largest fireworks displays will be at Harrisburg’s July 4th Food Truck Festival and the Central Pa 4th Fest in State College. Lititz hosts one of the oldest continuous Independence Day celebrations, with a patriotic parade, baby parade and a music-synchronized fireworks show with drones and lasers.
