A historic Juniata County church has found new purpose as a gathering place for music, storytelling, and community.

Now known as Ragamuffin Hall, the former McCoysville Presbyterian Church dates back to the 1700s and has deep roots in the region’s history. After the congregation closed in 2022, Conrad Fisher purchased the property and transformed it into a space centered around creativity, connection, and inclusion.

On The Spark, Fisher discusses the history of the building, the vision behind Ragamuffin Hall, and how the venue has become a place where musicians—including artists from Amish and Mennonite backgrounds—can share their voices and stories with the wider community.
