What started as a passion for collecting has grown into a force for good across Pennsylvania.

Bill Cable, a lifelong Star Wars fan and collector, is part of the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society—a volunteer-run nonprofit that has raised more than $100,000 for charities since 2009. The group combines fandom with philanthropy, creating and selling officially approved Star Wars-themed items to support causes throughout the region.

On The Spark, Cable shares how the organization got started, how it partners with charities, and how a shared love of a galaxy far, far away continues to make a real impact here at home.
