The rise in everyday use of electronic devices has contributed to a growing problem of electronic waste, adding to already overcrowded landfills and increasing environmental risks. Proper disposal of electronics is critical to preventing harmful materials from contaminating soil and water, and the public plays an important role in reducing e-waste through recycling, reusing, and participating in local collection programs.
