Observed Plugs to equipment above stainless-steel prep table to have significant dust accumulation and could cause cross contamination. Observed suppression lines of hood system equipment, kitchen, with an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, debris on nonfood contact surfaces. Food facility is using Chlorine Sanitizer at an extremely high concentration of 200 ppm, not approved in the Code of Federal Regulations for food contact sanitizing at this level; corrected. Ceiling tiles missing in the basement prep area and need replaced. Observed hood system located over grill and fryers to have significant accumulation of static dust and grease and is in need of cleaning.

Blade of large commercial can opener located in the side prep room a food contact surface, was observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch; corrected. Food employees observed throughout kitchen area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard covers. Observed boxes and food containers of various food (lettuce, sauces) stored directly on the floor in walk in cooler area, rather than 6 inches off the floor as required; corrected.

Weis Markets #120, 735 Old Harrisburg Rd, Gettysburg, Dec. 16. Pass. Missing wall panels missing in back of facility and need to be replaced. Ceiling tiles missing in the back area of facility and need replaced. Wall near the dairy cooler in rear of facility in the area, has a hole, or is broken and in need of repair. Observed static dust accumulation on vents located in the walk-in prep cooler. Back exit door located in the rear area of the food facility has a gap and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals.
