Bird-In-Hand Coffee Co., 2710 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird-In-Hand, December 12. Pass. Paper towel dispenser empty at the handwash sink in the prep area (CORRECTED). Observed boxes of food stored directly on the floor in the prep area, rather than 6 inches off of the floor as required. The handwash sink in the prep area was blocked by stack of boxes and not accessible at all times for employee use (CORRECTED).

Coffeeco Ephrata, 101 Larkspur Ln. Ephrata, Opening, December 12. Pass. No violations.

Corelife Eatery LLC, 1581 Fruitville Ave. Lancaster, December 12. Pass. Observed clean food equipment (stainless steel salad mixing bowls) in front salad preparation area, stored wet in a manner that does not allow for draining and/or air drying (wet nesting). Food employee observed in the food preparation area, wearing a wristwatch. Observed water leaking from the drainpipe beneath the 2-compartment sink and beneath the prespray table near the mechanical dishwasher. Observed old food residue inside metal food containers. PREVIOUS VIOLATION. Observed a residue build-up and black residue inside the ice maker. Employee personal items and antacids were observed on a food preparation table, not stored in dressing rooms or identified storage area as required.
