Observed coffee/expresso equipment, in kitchen/prep area, with an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, debris on non-food contact surfaces. Scoop being stored in the ice machine with handle touching and/or buried beneath the ice. CORRECTED.

New China Family Restaurant, 565 S. Main St. Shrewsbury, December 5. Pass. Food employees observed in kitchen area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats. Non-food contact surfaces of all cooking equipment, cold holding equipment, metal tables, hood system, deep freezer, flooring, metal shelving in walk in cooler, fan covers in walk-in cooler. Missing ceiling tiles in the hot water heater area. An insect control device (3 fly strips) located in kitchen area with potential to contaminate food, equipment, and/or utensils.
