Sheetz No. 461, 54 Benvenue Road, Duncannon, complaint, Dec. 5. Pass. The water temperature of the manual warewashing equipment (three-compartment sink) was 87 F, rather than not less than 110 F, as required. Instructed operator to use mechanical warewashing equipment until issue is corrected; operator placed service call for immediate service.
Nilkanth Penn LLC, 12 Cumberland St., Duncannon, complaint, Dec. 4. Pass. No violations.
Waterfront Bar and Grill, 13 S. Main St., Marysville, Dec. 4. Pass. Observed a black moldy substance on the interior of the ice machine in the food prep area; corrected. Nonfood contact surfaces not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil. Observed heavy food residue buildup in the interior of the bain-marie unit in the food prep area. Single-service, single-use articles stored in the food prep area directly on the floor and not 6 inches above the floor. Observed boxes of straws, drink lids and to-go containers stored under the prep table in the food prep area; corrected.
