Dollar General Store #3797, 881b Eisenhower Blvd. Harrisburg, November 25. Pass. No violations.
Hops and Barleys, 9 E. Main St. Middletown, November 25. Pass. Observed slicer with accumulation of dried food debris on the blade and housing. Corrected on site. Non-food contact surfaces not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil. Observed the following on non-food contact surfaces: Table under the Aventco grill with heavy grease and french fry accumulation and in need of deep cleaning. Floor under fryers with heavy accumulation of grease and in need of deep cleaning on a more frequent basis. Static dust accumulation on the exposed light bulbs, the oval ceiling-hung pot hanger and the wall and hook above the large bain marie cooling unit. The shelf under the prep table between the dish machine and the three-bay sink with heavy green slimy soap buildup and in need of cleaning. Tape on the walk-in cooler door, which is not a cleanable surface, must be removed and hole must be covered with a cleanable surface. A black mold-like substance on the ceiling seams of the walk-in cooler and in need of cleaning. Observed the wall behind the upright freezer unit at the rear exit has a broken seam strip, and the wall is gapping open and in need of repair.
