7-Eleven Inc., DBA A Plus 40286 H, Pa. Turnpike & Marsh Rd. Elverson, November 21. Fail. The Follett ice machine is broken. Repair or replace or remove this machine within 2 weeks. Replace the broken paper towel dispenser to the hand sink in the ware washing room within 7 days. A note was observed on the dispenser stating it was ordered 8/21; 10/4 and 10/11.
Avon Grove Intermediate School – Food, 395 S. Jennersville Rd. West Grove, November 21. Pass. Plumbing system not maintained in good repair – observed water leaking at the vacuum breaker at the mechanical dishwasher & rinse additive leaking from the supply line. Leaking appears to occur during the final rinse cycle. Make necessary repairs. Light fixtures need to be replaced in the following locations: 2 ceiling lights in Serving Side A; 1 ceiling light in Serving Side B; Wall light above hand sink in Ladies Restroom; 1 ceiling light above plastic storage rack near the office. Install new lights.
Birmingham Friends Meeting, 1245 Birmingham Rd. West Chester, Follow-up, November 21. Pass. No violations.
Bookstore Bakery, 145 W. Gay St. West Chester, November 21. Pass. Improper washwashing setup observed at sanitizer was observed in the middle bay of the 3-bay sink, Food contact equipment must be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Drain, clean and re-set sink and follow proper warewashing procedures. Make repairs to eliminate the leak below the 3-bay sink.
Chartwells @ Owen J. Roberts High School, 981 Ridge Rd. Pottstown, November 21. Pass. Hand sink on cookline: Water leaks from underneath the hot water handle. Repair within 5 days. Locker Room restroom sink: Water temp is 120 degrees F. Water at this sink must be 85-110 degrees F. Lower temp within 72 hours.
