Au Bonheur Des Crepes, 3506 Capital City Mall Drive, Camp Hill, regular/complaint, Nov. 14. Fail. Person in charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this noncompliant inspection. Person in charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of the PA Food Code as evidenced by incorrect responses to food safety questions. Owner observed in food prep area not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats, and beard covers. Observed raw eggs stored over milk in the small undercounter cooler corrected on site. Observed an unopened but expired gallon of 1% milk stored in the bain-marie; discarded. Observed several food items (chicken, cut pineapple, pepperoni) not date-marked; corrected on site. Observed a cellphone and remote directly on the food prep table in the middle of the facility. Observed a large knife stored in direct contact with food debris on the prep table. Both corrected on site.

Sweet Frog, 1104 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, Nov. 12. Fail. Food facility hot-water heater is not producing enough hot water to supply sinks at the time of this inspection. The water temperature of the wash compartment of the manual warewashing equipment was 59 F rather than not less than 110 F, as required. Plumbing system not maintained in good repair; observed drainage leaking into a container under the three-bay sink in the rear food prep area. Person in charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this noncompliant inspection. The hand-wash sink in the front service area does not have water at a temperature of at least 85 F. Temperature at the front hand-wash station observed to be 59 F.

Core Life Eatery, 25 N. 32nd St., Suite 400, Camp Hill, Nov. 10. Pass. Refrigerated, ready-to-eat time/temperature control for safety foods in the walk-in cooler not compliant with date-marking and discarded: Pan of scallions, pan of beets, pan of hard-boiled eggs. Observed four deteriorating rubber spatulas in the rear prep area; discarded. Nonfood contact surfaces not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil. Old food residue on the outer surface of two Robot Coupe units on the prep table in the rear food prep area. Food residue on the gasket of the smoothie upright refrigerated unit in the rear food prep area. The hand-wash sink in the front prep area was blocked and not accessible at all times for employee use. Front hand-wash station is operated via a floor pedal, with stool blocking the pedal from operation; corrected. Old food residue and grime buildup in the floor drains throughout the facility. Food residue and trash buildup on the floor around the ice machine in the rear food prep area.

Jasmine Chinese Kitchen, 5510 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, Nov. 10. Pass. Multiple food ingredient storage containers on the cook line are not labeled with the common name of the food. Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food prepared in the food facility and held for more than 24 hours in the walk-in cooler is not being date-marked. Interior of the bain-marie on the cook line with a large amount of food debris in need of cleaning. Cook line spigots and handles have grease buildup from previous day and in need of deep-cleaning.

Mission BBQ, 25 32nd St., Camp Hill, Nov. 10. Pass. Observed clean food containers in the rear prep area stored wet in a manner that does not allow for draining and/or air-drying (wet-nesting); corrected.

Peppermill Family Restaurant II, 1010 Wesley Drive, Unit 100, Mechanicsburg, change of owner, Nov. 10. Pass. Observed baked potatoes wrapped in foil overnight in walk-in cooler; corrected on site. Chlorine chemical sanitizer residual detected in the final sanitizer rinse cycle of the low-temperature sanitizing dishwasher was 0 ppm and not 50-100 ppm as required; corrected. Receiving door in the kitchen area of the food facility has a gap at the bottom and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals.

Taco Bell No. 033472, 4300 Market Place Way, Enola, Nov. 10. Pass. Observed clean food storage trays stored wet in a manner that does not allow for draining and/or air-drying (wet-nesting) in the dish area. Educated operator on correct washing/drying procedures.
