Pennon Board of Directors elects Benjamin C. Dunlap, Jr. and Marie Roof as two newest members
[HARRISBURG, PA] – Pennon has appointed two new members to the board of directors.
Benjamin C. Dunlap, Jr. is a partner at the Harrisburg Office of Cohen, Seglias, Pallas, Greenhall & Furman, P.C. He was the managing partner of Nauman, Smith, Shissler & Hall, LLP, at the time of its merger with Cohen Seglias in February of 2024. Dunlap concentrates his practice in business and employment law, working with for-profit and nonprofit organizations for over 30 years. His business clients include Class 1 railroads, the regulatory work for which constitutes a large part of his practice. He has been recognized in employment law on the Best Lawyers® in America list, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list and has an AV Preeminent® Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Rating. Dunlap has served as past chair of the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation and was a founding board member of the LGBT Center of Central Pennsylvania.
Marie Roof has served in multiple leadership roles in technology and healthcare including chief information officer (CIO) of Southwell, Inc., president and CEO of Kodiak Systems, LLC and CIO and HIPAA officer for Vibra Healthcare, LLC. She has more than thirty years of experience in information systems and previously held leadership positions within Select Medical Corporation, Cigna Healthcare and Capital Blue Cross. Roof has served on many boards including WITF, Ruth’s Cottage and The Patticake House, Tift Area Greenbelt Association and Central Pennsylvania Health Information Management Systems Society. She is a recipient of the 2016 Central Pennsylvania Women of Influence award, was a member of the CHIME Speakers Bureau and served on the Central Pennsylvania United Way IT Committee.
