One Stop Mart & Deli, 450 W. Orange St. Lancaster, November 8. Pass. No violations.

Asia Food Super Market, 550 N. Franklin St. Lancaster, Follow-up, November 7. Fail. Store raw eggs on bottom of refrigeration unit. Potentially hazardous ready-to-eat food prepared in the food facility and held for more than 48 hours, located in the front of the facility is not being date-marked. Label meat according to compliance with food code. Replaced expired sanitizer and sanitizer test strips. Delivery door located in the rear area of the food facility has a gap and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals. Food facility inspection indicates evidence of rodents/insect activity, but facility does have a pest control program.

Bistro 222, 222 Eden Rd. Lancaster, November 7. Pass. Observed raw chicken stored above raw beef in the walk-in cooler. Food employee observed in dish washing, not wearing a beard cover. Observed deeply scored cutting boards (green portable and small boards in the bar) not resurfaced or discarded as required. Ice scoop stored on top of the ice maker, a place that is not clean and sanitized. Food employee personal belongings: jackets and purses observed on a shelf with food equipment in the kitchen and hanging from a shelf with food, although lockers are provided. Sausage crumbles and sausage sauce, refrigerated, ready-to-eat time temperature control for safety foods in the walk-in cooler, were date-marked by the facility but were beyond the 7-day use or sell-by date and require discarding. Working containers of quat sanitizer were stored on the same shelf with small to-go trays and napkins in the bar wait-staff area.

Bobby Bays Sandwich Shop, 2102 Strickler Rd. Suite 3, Manheim, Follow-up, November 7. Pass. Food employees observed in kitchen and prep area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard covers. CORRECTED (with hats) REPEAT VIOLATION 5/2025, 11/3/2025. Observed tongs stored as cleaned with old food residue and was not clean to sight and touch. REPEAT VIOLATION 5/2025, 11/3/2025.

Columbia Middletown BPOE #1074, 445 Chestnut St. Columbia, November 7. Pass. Sliced turkey, a refrigerated, ready-to-eat, time-temperature control for safety food in the small cooling unit, was date-marked by the facility, but was beyond the 7-day use or sell-by date and requires discarding. Observed a large mound of frozen condensate in the middle of the floor of the walk-in freezer. Commercially processed refrigerated, ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food (sliced ham), located in the small cooling unit, and held more than 24 hours, is not being marked with the date it was opened. Chlorine chemical sanitizer residual detected in the final sanitizer rinse cycle of the low temperature sanitizing dishwasher was 0 ppm, and not 50-100 ppm as required. Facility filled partially filled container of chlorine bleach and primed the dishwasher; the final sanitizing concentration was 50ppm.
