Lincoln Diner, 32 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, regular/complaint, Sept. 22. Pass. Food facility is not removing dead or trapped pests from control devices frequently, as evidenced by observed old decaying roach-like insects on floor in basement. Large amounts of soda syrup spillage were observed in the basement on the floor. Can opener blade in main cookline was observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch; corrected. Microwave has food residue and splatter and was not clean to sight and touch; corrected. Observed soda nozzle interior of beverage machine in the waitress area to have brownish/black residue and was not clean to sight and touch; corrected. Food facility inspection indicates evidence of roach-like activity in areas, but facility does have an active pest control program. Observed two to three live roach-like insects in basement.
