El Mercado, 6945 York Road, Abbottstown, Sept. 19. Pass. Old food residue, dishes and utensils observed in the hand-wash sink, indicating uses other than hand-washing; corrected. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration.

Sweet P’s Treats, mobile food facility Type I, 28 Pine Road, Abbottstown, Sept. 19. Pass. No violations.

Tommy’s Pizza, 105 Steinwehr Ave., Gettysburg, regular/complaint, Sept. 18. Pass. Floor in back of house is made of tile/ceramic and is cracked, roughened, and not a smooth, easily cleanable surface. An open employee’s beverage container was observed in back of house area on stainless steel prep table, a food preparation area; corrected. Hood system is not adequate to remove heat and/or grease, as evidenced by condensate and/or grease collecting on the walls, ceilings and fixtures. Ice box white deflector plate was observed to have brown and pink residue on food-contact surface and was not clean to sight and touch; corrected. Can opener blade of large was observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch; corrected.

Creekside Farm Market, 240 Markle Run Road, East Berlin, Sept. 16. Pass. Observed scoop in the consumer self-service area for ready-to-eat foods (popcorn) stored with handle in direct contact with food, which does not protect against contamination; corrected.

La De Michoacan, 8 Springs Ave., Gettysburg, Sept. 16. Pass. No violations.

Baltimore Hill Creamery, 252 Baltimore St., Gettysburg, Sept. 15. Pass. No violations.
