Lancaster Conservancy’s Trail Fest returns to Wizard Ranch Nature Preserve from 1-7 p.m. Saturday.
The event will be held at Wizard Ranch Nature Preserve, located off Accomac Road in Hellam Township, York County. For driving directions via Google Maps, click here.
Tickets are $25 for general admission (ages 13 and up); $32 for adults that includes a reusable cup for beer and cider sales; and $10 for children ages 12 and under.
Trail Fest aims to celebrate the variety of ways residents can connect with nature and experience the physical, mental and emotional health benefits from spending time outdoors.
The event includes educational opportunities, a Nature Discovery Walk and musical performances from Mulligan Pauls & Rast and Hadassah Edith.
Stoney’s Burgers and Fries, Traveling J’s and Mezcla Ice Cream will sell food, and Collusion Tap Works will offer beer and cider. Food trucks and the performance stage will be powered by electric vehicles and battery generators.
Schedule highlights include:
1-5:30 p.m.: Happy Hiker Village
1-6:30 p.m.: Nature Discover Walk; food, beer and cider sales.
1:15-2 p.m.: Trailside Talk: “How to Love a Forest” with Peggy Eppig, Lancaster Conservancy.
2:15-3 p.m.: Trailside Talk: Healing the Land, Healing Ourselves with Keith Williams, Lancaster Conservancy
3:15-4 p.m.: Trailside Talk: Rewilding for Wildlife with Sarah Gotwols, Lancaster Conservancy, and Raven Ridge Wildlife Center
4 p.m.: Mulligan Pauls & Rast performance
5 p.m.: Hadassah Edith performance
Lancaster Conservancy manages over 60 miles of trails, including three universal access trails, across its nature preserves in Lancaster and York counties.
