The Pub, 101 Market St., Duncannon, Aug. 28. Pass. Observed wet-wiping cloths in the food prep area not being stored in sanitizer solution; corrected. Observed the following foods stored open with no covering: plastic tub of cooked chicken wings in the upright refrigerated unit in the food prep area; bowl of pickles in the upright refrigerated unit in the food prep area; bowl of lettuce in the lower storage area of the bain-marie unit in the main food prep area; all the above were corrected.

Twin Kiss, 5274 Spring Road, Shermans Dale, Aug. 27. Pass. No violations.
Karns Food, 35 Centre Drive, New Bloomfield, Aug. 25. Pass. Nonfood contact surfaces not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil. Observed food residue and buildup on the door channels and door edges of the deli service case in the deli department. Observed wet-wiping cloths in the deli prep area not being stored in sanitizer solution; corrected. Plumbing system not maintained in good repair. Observed the floor drain under the three-bay sink in the deli prep area and the floor drains in the meat prep area backed up and slightly overflowing. Operator stated a work-order for the drains has been placed to be repaired ASAP. Observed rough and cracked silicone seal between the wall and three-bay sink in the bakery area; seal area is not a smooth, easily cleanable surface. The following areas of the facility were observed to be in need of cleaning: top of the proofer and convection oven in the bakery department observed with dust and food debris buildup; static dust buildup observed on the ceiling vent directly above a food prep table in the bakery department; black, moldlike substance observed on the ceiling, including the interior of the lighting ballasts above the meat saw and meat cutting area in the meat prep area; white, mildew-like substance observed on the interior of the greens case on the produce sales floor.
