Kish Street Produce, 330 S. Kish St., Belleville, opening, Aug. 22. Pass. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration. New food facility in operation has not employed a certified food employee as required.

Bing’s Diner, 101 S. Walnut St., Burnham, complaint, Aug. 20. Pass. No violations.

The Roast Post, 5695 U.S. 522, McVeytown, Aug. 20. Pass. New food facility in operation more than 90 days and has not employed a certified food employee as required. Failure to maintain a certified food manager may result in a $300 civil penalty. Firm lacks a certified food manager, therefore a certificate is not posted.

Curbside Kitchen, mobile food facility Type 3, 15 Shady Lane, McVeytown, Aug. 18. Fail. Thermometers for ensuring proper temperatures of food are not available or readily accessible. Person in charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this noncompliant inspection. Several food items were held in the nonworking cooler area above minimum temperature, rather than 41 F or below as required. Observed chicken at 54 F, beef taco meat at 49 F, bacon at 55 F, cheeses at 62 F to 58 F; items were discarded. Eggs held at 55 F in the nonworking cooler area, rather than 45 F or below as required; items were discarded. Scoop being stored in the ice machine with handle touching and/or buried beneath the ice. The food facility does not have a hand-wash sink. Observed the water tank in the ceiling in the front of the truck leaking water and in need of repair. The food facility does not maintain Food Employee Certification records as required, expired Aug. 5. The facility does not have single-use towels, continuous towels, or air-drying device.

Danny’s BBQ, mobile food facility Type 4, 305 S. Main St., Lewistown, Aug. 18. Pass. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration.

The Twisted Egg Roll Xlc-2094, mobile food facility Type 3, 6 Snyder Lane, Lewistown, Aug. 18. Pass. No violations.
