Observed foods being thawed at room temperature; foods were still within critical limits. Observed the facility does not have test strips to monitor a chlorine-based sanitizing solution at 50-100PPM. Observed an excess buildup of grease and food residue on the handles of the prep table and refrigeration units. Observed an excess buildup of food residue in the hand-wash sink. Observed wet floor mops not hung to air-dry.
Ye Olde Hotel, 236 N. Main St., Milroy, Aug. 7. Pass. Observed a buildup of dried food residue on the blade of the french fry slicer indicating it is not being cleaned and sanitized on a routine basis. Observed a buildup of dried food residue on the stem of the thermometer used to monitor the internal temperatures of foods.
