Pennon Education Presents Ready, Set, Explore — Fall into Learning

Pennon Education and WITF invite you to join us for an interactive, family-friendly celebration of fall, where curiosity and creativity collide with a spooky twist!

Tickets are free, but donations help to fund events like Gear Up for Learning in our community. We suggest a $5 donation per family.
Families who attend Ready, Set, Explore — Fall into Learning will enjoy hands-on pumpkin-powered STEM challenges and fall themed activities.
Families and children can:
- Design and test a miniature candy corn catapult using engineering concepts
- Guide “creepy crawler” Ozobots through a maze using coding basics
- Make a splash with the science of buoyancy to see which autumnal objects sink or float
- Explore how circuits work using fall-time fruits and veggies
- Strike a pose with Pennon Education’s character, Tia Flora, with a choice of fall or spooky background
Children who attend will receive a FREE copy of Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert. Teens will receive a FREE copy of The Pumpkin War by Cathleen Young. This event is perfect for families with children ages 3 – 14, but all ages are welcome!
