Marysville Lions Club Kitchen, 102 Park Drive, P.O. Box 41, Marysville, July 17. Pass. No violations.
Bitting’s Inc., 16 N. Second St., Newport, July 15. Pass. Paper towel dispenser observed empty at the handwash sink in the food prep area; corrected on-site. Grill line area of the food facility is dirty, dusty, and/or otherwise in need of cleaning. Observed grease buildup on the walls, sides of cooking appliances and the filters of the hood ventilation system in the main food prep area.
Dollar General No. 6315, 1548 State Road, Duncannon, July 14. Pass. No violations.
Pilot Travel Center No. 517 – Subway, 30 Benvenue Road, Duncannon, July 14. Pass. Observed a buildup/spill of soft drink syrup in the rear storage area underneath the soft drink syrup dispenser. Observed clean food storage pans and containers stored wet instead of being allowed to air-dry in the dishwashing area of the Subway side of the facility. Educated person in charge on proper drying procedures.
