512 Singh LLC, 512 S. 29th St. Harrisburg, Opening, July 13. Pass. Observed duct tape being used for counter repair. No sign or poster posted at the handwash sink in the area to remind food employees to wash their hands. Paper towel dispenser empty at the handwash sink in the area.
Lykens Valley Bison, 105 Sams Rd. Millersburg, July 11. Pass. No violations.
Rachels Soft Pretzels, 230 Market St. Millersburg, July 11. Pass. Food dispensing utensil in brown sugar and flour containers observed stored in the food and not with handle above the top of the food and the container. Observed clean utensils/ serving equipment in storage closet stored under hole in ceiling that needs repaired. Discussed moving storage rack away from that corner or covering clean dishes to prevent contamination. Observed sliced deli meats (ham, turkey, bologna) re-packaged in containers intended to be used longer than 24 hours with no date-marking located in refrigerator in storefront prep area. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration. Paper towel dispenser empty at the handwash sink in the storefront area.
