Crop’s Fresh Marketplace, 1257 Horseshoe Pike, Downingtown, Complaint, June 27. Pass. A complaint was received on June 24, 2025 regarding a package of Cranberry Muffins-they have walnuts in them but walnuts are not listed on the ingredient label-a picture of the label was received as well and this was confirmed. This flavor of muffins was not observed on the sales floor today but I did observe Cranberry Orange Loaf-they is a “Nuts” sticker on the side package but walnuts are not on the ingredient list. Prepackaged baked goods must be labeled properly with the name of product, accurate ingredient statement, net weight, distributed by statement and/or nutritional facts. A new label was made on site for the muffins and loaves-please use the new labels today. Note: The Banana Nut Muffins did have walnuts listed on the ingredient label. Prepackaged muffins/loaves are not labeled to clearly to indicate any “Big 9” allergen ingredients and/or the allergen warning statement. Correct within 24 hours. Please email a sample label to me.
