Cross Roads Family Restaurant, 4643 Pottsville Pike, Reading, May 30. Pass. An open employee’s beverage container was observed in cook’s area, a food preparation area. Corrected on inspection. Food dispensing utensil in bulk food bins (sugar and flour) observed stored in the food and not with handle above the top of the food. Corrected on inspection. Observed wet wiping cloths in service area, not being stored in sanitizer solution. Corrected on inspection. Food storage containers in the walk-in refrigerator were stored open with no covering. Corrected on inspection.

Kidspeace – Berks Campus, 704 Hay Rd. Wilson Sarig School, Temple, May 30. Pass. Food employee observed in kitchen, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard covers. Corrected on inspection.
Kirbyville Farm Market, 14030 Kutztown Rd. Fleetwood, May 30. Pass. Non-food contact surface of refrigerator gasket on the refrigerator below the panini press was not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of mold and food debris. Non-food contact surface of the deli meat and cheese case door track was not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of food debris. The handwash sink located in the ice cream area does not have water at a temperature of at least 85 degrees F.
