Crazy Pupusas & More, 300 W. James St., Lancaster, May 22. Fail. Professionally clean hoods. Organize back food storage area. Provide professional pesticide report. Nonfood contact surfaces throughout not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil. Back door located in the food prep area of the food facility has a gap and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents and other animals.

Idea Coffee LLC, 100 Merchant Ave., Mount Joy, May 22. Pass. Temperature measuring device for ensuring proper temperature of equipment is not available or readily accessible in tall reach-in refrigerator. Observed a pinkish biofilm on the deflector plate, along the waterway of the cube formation plate, and on the interior housing of the ice machine. The quaternary ammonia concentration in the sanitizing solution of the red bucket was over 400 ppm, rather than 100-200 ppm as stated on the manufacturer’s use directions; corrected. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration; previous violations, June 11, 2024, and Aug. 2, 2023. Food facility does not employ a certified food employee as required.
