Chen’s House, 1510 Cumberland St. Lebanon, Opening, May 15. Pass. No violations.

Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 Northern Education Center – Jonestown, 135 S. King St. Jonestown, May 15. Pass. No violations.

Miller’s Restaurant, 2665 Route 72, Jonestown, May 15. Pass. Food employees observed not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets or hats. Ceiling tiles in the front kitchen area are sagging and hanging and need to be replace. Walls in the prep area around the three-compartment sink with peeling paint and needs to be repaired. Interior top of microwave, a food contact surface, was observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Food facility inspection indicates evidence of rodents activity in prep kitchen areas next to 2 door fridge, but facility does not have a pest control program. Under prep table in back kitchen area and cabinets in front kitchen area under grill with debris and grease accumulation and in need of cleaning. Interior of two door refrigerator in the back kitchen shelves with accumulation of black-matter and bottom of refrigerator needs to be cleaned. The handwash sink in the kitchen prep area does not have single use towels, continuous towels, or air drying device. Corrected.

East China, 1 E. Lincoln Ave. Myerstown, May 14. Pass. An insect control device located in prep area with potential to contaminate food, equipment, and / or utensils. Moved away from risk areas.

Myerstown Christian Fellowship, 59 Ramona Rd. Myerstown, May 14. Pass. No violations.

Sopranos Pizza, 50 Lynmar Ave. Palmyra, Change of Owner, May 14. Pass. Raw shell eggs in the walk-in cooler stored above RTE foods. Corrected.
