Firehouse Subs, 2531 Market St. York, April 29. Pass. Observed single-service, single-use articles (cups, lids, and straws) stored in waste bin cupboard at the customer self-service beverage area, a prohibited area. Corrected. Dry seasoning storage containers in the back prep area are not labeled with the common name of the food. Observed several bottles of chocolate milk with expiration date of 4-15-25 in the self-service drink cooler. Corrected. Product was discarded. Wire storage rack next to prep sink is rusty and needs to be replaced. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration. Mechanical dish machine is not dispensing sanitizer properly. Manager called for repair. Facility will use three-bay sink to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes. Interior of ice machine, cutting board, and toaster oven conveyor, food contact surfaces, were observed to have food residue and were not clean to sight and touch. Corrected.
