The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, 866-366-3723, uses a risk-based inspection reporting process for restaurants and other food handlers.

K’town Pub Food Truck, 257 W. Main St. Kutztown, Opening, May 4. Pass. No violations.
Antietam SD High School, 201 N. 25th St. Reading, May 2. Pass. No sign or poster posted at the handwash sinks (4 sinks) to remind food employees to wash their hands. Soap was not available at the handwash sink in the dishwasher area. Facility does not have a method to verify the final rinse temperature of the hot water sanitizing dishwasher. Exit door located near the walk-ins has a gap at the bottom and does not protect against the entry of pests. The handwash sink in the dishwasher area does not have single use towels or air drying device. Working containers (spray bottles) in the restroom and dishwasher areas, used for storing chemicals, cleaners taken from bulk supplies, were not marked with the common name of the chemical. Corrected.
