Meat department: observed molds used for shaping burgers, stored behind the faucets of the three-compartment sink, an area that is not cleaned and sanitized. Food employees observed not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats or beard covers.
Good Life Ice Cream & Treats, 2088 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, May 2. Pass. Observed an excessive amount of old, tape residue on the black food containers. Observed food left in open cans, rather than placing food in a food-grade container after opening. Observed an accumulation of dust on all air vents throughout the facility. Dust observed on the light shades above the front service area. Chipping paint observed on the wall where food preparation takes place in the front service area.
