Kelly Elementary School, 325 Hospital Dr. Lewisburg, April 23. Pass. The ice machine harvest shield, a food contact surface, was observed to have a slight accumulation of mold-like residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Corrected on site.
Lewisburg Area High School, 545 Newman Rd. Lewisburg, April 23. Pass. Chub of ground meat observed thawing in standing water in the sink, which is not an approved thawing method. Corrected on site.
Bucknell Univ – Macdonald Commons, 560 Christy Mathewson Dr. Lewisburg, April 22. Pass. An open employee’s beverage container was observed in the food preparation area. COS.

Fuji Steakhouse, 199 Ajk Blvd. Lewisburg, April 22. Pass. Food facility is reusing single service (plastic containers) for further food storage. COS. Spray bottles in kitchen and restrooms not marked with the common name of chemical contents. COS. Observed a can opener blade with food dark food residuals. Lip of ice deflector plate had buildup of black mold-like residue. COS. A Y-valve with shut-offs and a chemical station observed connected to the mop sink faucet downstream from an atmospheric vacuum breaker (AVB). No shut off values allowed past an AVB without a bleeder valve. COS. The electrocuter insect control device located over prep area is not designed to retain the insect in the device. Device removed-COS.
