Dover Area Elementary School, 109 E. Canal St. Dover, March 28. Pass. Metal stem thermometer observed being stored in a sanitizing solution in between uses. Corrected.

Dover Area High School, 4500 Intermediate Ave. Dover, March 28. Pass. (2) Metal stem thermometer observed being stored in a sanitizing solution in between uses on the serving lines. Floor standing fan in the serving line area has accumulation of dust and in need of cleaning. Handwashing sink for the sandwich stating is not easily accessible by having to walk around ice cream cooler and a cold holding unit, employee needs to have easy access to all handwashing sinks. Rodent droppings observed in dish area behind door, in kitchen area by reverse osmoses system, at sandwich station in the electric panel door area. Please provided pest control reports to inspector by 4/3/25. Floor drains throughout the kitchen area are in need of cleaning.

Dover Area Middle School, 46 W. Canal St. Dover, March 28. Pass. Receiving door located in the hallway area of the food facility has a gap and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals. Observed cockroaches (6 black) in glue boards by floor drain of walk-in cooler and at counter in kitchen area.

Leader Heights Elementary School, 49 Indian Rock Dam Rd. York, March 28. Pass. No violations.

Republican Club, 255 W. Chestnut St. Hanover, March 28. Pass. Observed frozen boxes of various foods encased in ice condensation from walk in freezer (FOODS DISCARDED). Food utensils observed stored in sanitation bucket which is not maintained at 135 degrees F (CORRECTED). Observed heavy Ice condensation and accumulation in the walk-in cooler. One unit fan was observed to not be functional. No direct impact on temps were observed. Observed peeling paint on the underside of Bane Marie lid and is not in good repair. Blade of upright can opener a food contact surface, was observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch (CORRECTED). Observed ceiling of the microwave unit to have food splatter and was not clean to sight and touch (CORRECTED). Observed white deflector plate of the large Ice machine to have blackish/brownish mold like substance and was not clean to sight and touch (CORRECTED). Floor drains located in the Bar beneath the three basin sinks are severely rusted and peeling and not in good repair. Food employee personal belongings observed in kitchen area, although lockers are provided (CORRECTED). Ceiling area of the food facility is extremely dirty, dusty, and in need of cleaning (MAIN KITCHEN). Observed excessive amounts of grease on the floor behind cooking equipment and fryers. Ceiling vents located in the main kitchen observed to have static dust and dirt.
