WITF is proud to announce that Central Penn Business Journal has selected Andrea G. Kolb, Ph.D, WITF Senior Vice President and Chief Education Officer, as a Forty Under 40 recipient.
“We are incredibly proud of Andrea on her recognition as a Central Penn Business Journal Forty Under 40 Honoree,” said Ron Hetrick, WITF President & CEO. “Andrea embraces every role she encounters with humility and an eye towards improving the quality of life in our region for learners of all ages.”
Kolb joined WITF in September 2022. Outside of her work at WITF, she serves as a multilingual education consultant to the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Teaching with Primary Sources Instructional Coach with the U.S. Library of Congress. She also instructs in the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) graduate program at Arcadia University.
Central Penn Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 awards recognize professionals under the age of 40 who have been successful in Central Pennsylvania. Honorees were selected by a panel of previous winners and the Central Penn Business Journal leadership team based on professional accomplishments, community service and commitment to inspiring change.

“The 2024 Forty Under 40 are the next generation of leaders in Central Pennsylvania. Their professional accomplishments and community service are exemplary, and they are committed to inspiring change,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Central Penn Business Journal. “Central Penn Business Journal congratulates these impressive young leaders in our community.”
Forty under 40 honorees will be recognized at a celebration at the Hilton Harrisburg, 1 N. Second Street, on Oct. 24. Winners will be profiled in the Oct. 25 issues of Central Pennsylvania Business Journal and online at CPBJ.com.
