Independence Law Center, a religious rights law firm, has made headway in meeting and contracting with school districts throughout Lancaster County and central Pennsylvania in recent months.
Penn Manor School District voted 5-4 to add the law firm as special council on Aug. 20, 2024.
Independence Law Center (ILC) is a Harrisburg-based firm that has worked with typically Republican-dominated school boards to craft policies on student access to library books and rules for transgender students’ use of restrooms and locker rooms.
