Join WITF for a free family-friendly event that explores the science behind chocolate!
Saturday, June 15 • 10am – 1pm

Hershey, Pennsylvania is known around the world for Hershey’s chocolate! Discover the process behind turning cacao pods into the chocolate and candies we eat!
At this event, your family can:
- Learn about the lifecycle of chocolate – from cacao pod to chocolate bar
- Design your own chocolate bar wrapper
- Explore coding with educational robotic toys, such as Ozobots and Spheros
- Enjoy bilingual story times with WITF’s Tia Flora
- Meet Curious George… and more!
Some activities at the event are edible – chocolate is delicious, after all! Foods available at the event will contain allergens – specifically dairy. Please check ingredient lists closely if your child has a food allergy.
Don’t forget to pick out a free book before you go home! This event is designed for children and teens, ages 3 – 14.
