The history of chocolate can be traced back more than 4,000 years to the Maya, Toltec, and Aztec people who prepared a beverage from the cocoa bean. Join the WITF Education team for this free family-friendly event to discover the science behind chocolate!

Hershey, Pennsylvania – right in our neighborhood – is known around the world for Hershey’s chocolate! Come to the Hershey Public Library to discover the chemistry and health benefits of different types of chocolate and explore how cacao pods are turned into the candy we love to eat.
