Congress Has Cut Federal Funding for Public Media

With the passage of the Rescissions Act of 2025, federal support for public media has not only been eliminated moving forward — it’s also being pulled back for the current fiscal year.

WITF is deeply grateful for your continued advocacy. Now, more than ever, we need your help to sustain the trusted news, educational programming and emergency communications our community relies on.

If you’re not yet a sustaining member, please consider starting a monthly gift.
