On Sunday, March 19, we have another triple drama premiere on WITF TV! Call the Midwife starts the night at 8pm, with Sanditon sandwiched in the middle at 9pm, and Marie Antoinette rounding out the night at 10pm.

Watch Call the Midwife on Sundays at 8pm on WITF TV or stream it for free for two weeks following each episode’s television premiere on the PBS or WITF app.

Call the Midwife begins its 12th season in 1968. The nuns and nurses from Nonnatus House return for more midwifery and family life. They’ve welcomed a new nun, Sister Veronica, who is an instant hit with everyone – except Nurse Crane.

Tensions rise in Poplar following Enoch Powell’s “Rivers of Blood” speech, too.

Watch Call the Midwife on WITF TV Sundays at 8pm or stream it for free on the PBS or WITF app for two weeks following each episode’s television premiere.

Watch Sanditon on Sundays at 9pm on WITF TV or stream it for free for two weeks following each episode’s television premiere on the PBS or WITF app.

The third and final season of Sanditon returns viewers and Charlotte Haywood to the seaside resort. Charlotte arrives in Sanditon with her fiancé, Ralph Starling, in tow for Georgiana’s 21st birthday party. The dashing and mysterious Alexander Colbourne also returns – which sparks several awkward encounters.

Meanwhile, Arthur works himself into a tizzy planning the perfect party for Georgiana, and Georgiana must fend off suitors – and a direct challenge to her future wellbeing.

Watch Sanditon on WITF TV Sundays at 9pm or stream it for free on the PBS or WITF app for two weeks following each episode’s television premiere.

Watch Marie Antoinette on Sundays at 10pm on WITF TV or stream it for free for four weeks following each episode’s television premiere on the PBS or WITF app.

Rounding out the night is the dramatic retelling of Marie Antoinette’s rise and fall. Marie is just 14 when she leaves Austria to marry the dauphin of France, Louis Auguste – soon to become the King of France, Louis XVI.

She’s tasked by her mother to continue the Bourbon line and secure the Franco-Austrian alliance. To do so, she must follow the complicated rules of the French court while trying to charm her reluctant new husband.

Marie tries to recreate Versailles in her image – free, independent and feminist – but her rivals at Versailles defame her reputation and do everything in their power to destroy her.

Watch Marie Antoinette on WITF TV Sundays at 10pm or stream it for free on the PBS or WITF app for four weeks following each episode’s television premiere. You can also watch Marie Antoinette on all PBS Platforms, including PBS Masterpiece Prime Video.

After you watch Marie Antoinette, listen to WITF’s fan-first podcast Postscript! Hosts Beth and Christina will recap each episode, talk about the moments that made them wonder or cringe, and take a closer look at the historical accuracy of the series. You’ll find Postscript wherever you listen to podcasts, and at witf.org/postscript.
