Calling all Call the Midwife fans! WITF is hosting a Season 12 preview screening and vintage Baby Shower at the WITF Public Media Center on Sunday, March 5 from 2:00 – 4:30pm!
A Labour of love is planned for you,
A shower and screening that’s brand new.The Stork’s Landing is the mother to be,
Gifts we’ll give from A to Z.All our shower needs is “YOU,”
For it to be just “tickety boo!”
A special pre-screening reception begins at 2:00pm, with the screening beginning at 3:30pm. Reception guests will enjoy a build-your-own “Mum-osa” bar, a 1960s-inspired buffet, trivia and “who’s that baby?” games with prizes, and an exclusive screening of the premiere episode of season 12.
We encourage everyone to come dressed in their 1960s best or wearing a burgundy sweater to show their love of the series and midwifery!
We will collect donations of new baby items to support mothers in need through UPMC’s program, The Stork’s Landing. Suggested donations include diapers, baby onesies and clothing, socks, booties and baby shampoo.
The reception is now sold out, but a few tickets for the free screening remain.
