Competition is heating up on The Great American Recipe. Hosted by Alejandra Ramos, the series has given home cooks from different regions across the country to showcase their beloved dishes, celebrate the diversity that makes American food so unique, and compete to win the national search for “The Great American Recipe.”

In Mix It Up, airing Friday, July 29 at 9pm, our home chefs’ talents are tested when the five remaining cooks must swap recipes and prepare each other’s dishes. Then, each must impress the judges with an original fusion dish that represents their unique American story.
