Frankie Drake Mysteries takes place in 1920s Toronto and follows the city’s only female private detectives as they defy expectations and rebel against conventions to crack the cases the police won’t touch.

It stars Lauren Lee Smith (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) as Frankie and Chantel Riley (Race) as Trudy.

Our two valiant detectives have worked against the clock to find a gravely ill kidnapping victim and have been hired by civil rights leader Marcus Garvey and fashion icon Coco Chanel (as played by actors) during this season.

Their adventures have taken them through every cross-section of diverse Toronto, from gospel church choirs to the homes of the city’s wealthy elite. They’re paving a new path in a new world – but the world might not be ready for them.
