During the month of December, workers in Pennsylvania had the highest degree of job security in the country.
That’s according to the job site ZipRecruiter that said that Pennsylvania had a layoff rate of 0.2% — the lowest in the state’s history. About 5,000 employees lost their jobs in Pennsylvania out of 1.1 million nationwide.
This all comes at a time when employers are not finding enough people to hire for open positions. As a result, they’re holding onto the employees they already have.
