Winter storm blankets Central Pa. with snow, ice, rain and heavy winds

The National Weather Service in State College says between one and four inches of snow hit the WITF listening area.

(Harrisburg) — A winter storm has blanketed the region with snow, ice and rain.

The National Weather Service in State College says between one and four inches of snow hit the WITF listening area.

PennDOT has lifted all speed reductions and truck restrictions on major roadways in southcentral Pennsylvania, as crews continue to plow and treat roadways.

The entire midstate is under a wind advisory from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Juniata, Mifflin, Schuylkill, Snyder and Union counties are under a winter weather advisory until 10:00 a.m.
