(University Park) — The Penn State Nittany Lions are going to get an early look at what next season might be like without some of their star players.
Wide Receiver Jahan Dotson and Safety Jaquan Brisker announced yesterday they will opt out of the Lions upcoming bowl game to prepare for the NFL Draft.
They join linebackers Brandon Smith and Ellis Brooks, the teams two leading tacklers, who announced last week that they would not play in the bowl.
Dotson had nearly 12-hundred yards and 12-touchdowns this season and is expected to be a first round draft pick.
Brisker was a team captain and considered to be one of the top safety’s in the country.
Penn State plays Arkansas this Saturday at noon in the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Florida.
