More than one year into the COVID-19 pandemic, we are all feeling effects of the changes it has brought to our personal and professional lives.
The impact on Americans’ health is wide-ranging. Some people opted to delay medical treatment out of fear they would be exposed to the coronavirus. Many increased alcohol consumption and drug use to cope with added stress, and overdose deaths surged. Parents are worried about their children’s mental health after a long period of uncertainty.
