This vote threatens federal support for programming on WITF — putting at risk educational programming, trusted news and emergency communications that our community depends on produced locally and from PBS and NPR. Now the proposal heads to the Senate.

(Quarryville, PA) – Pennsylvania State Police say a crash between a horse and buggy and a trash truck has killed three juveniles and injured four others.
Police say the crash happened south of Quarryville, in Lancaster County, shortly before 8 a.m.
Police say the buggy driver failed to stop at a stop sign and went into an intersection, where the truck hit it on the passenger side. The truck driver wasn’t hurt.
All seven occupants of the buggy were minors. Buggies are common in Lancaster County, which hosts a large settlement of Amish, and numerous fatal crashes have been reported over the years.
